Interested in Becoming a Volunteer?
Our volunteers are carefully screened and receive training in palliative care. Volunteers provide emotional and practical support at home, in the hospital or at the personal care home. They can provide companionship and offer short respite for the family or caregiver. The Coordinator for Sunset Palliative Care meets with individuals and families, at their request, to help set up a plan that meets the needs of both the patient and the family.
